Hole #1

The opening hole is a straightaway par 5 guarded by trees on the left and right. Playing slightly downhill from the tee box, a wide approach shot assists golfers trying to reach this fairly large green in two.

Hole #2

Fairway bunkers guard the landing area on our shortest par 5. Be sure to grab more club when hitting into this elevated and well-protected green.

Hole #3

A fairway wood or hybrid off the tee leaves you with a tough approach to an uphill green on this dogleg-left hole. Watch the bunker and O.B. on the right. Par is a great score here! Once you get to the green, be sure to take in the views of the Hunterdon Hills and Spruce Run Reservoir.

Hole #4

With its elevated green and swirling winds, this hole will test your short iron prowess. An overhanging tree guards to the right and bunkers protect the front on both sides, so concentrate on accuracy and distance. Being below the pin on this sloped green will give you a chance at birdie.

Hole #5

One of the most visually appealing holes at Beaver Brook Country Club, the fifth hole swings gently from right to left from an elevated tee. The fairway landing area is protected by bunkers and O.B. on the right and deep rough on the left. An uphill approach shot to an undulating green completes this entertaining hole.

Hole #6

Watch out for the sixth hole. Blind from the tee, the Beaver Brook crosses the fairway at the 240-yard marker. A long iron or fairway wood tee shot will leave a demanding approach shot to this narrow green.

Hole #7

The most demanding of our par 3’s, the seventh hole plays uphill and into the prevailing breeze. Beaver Brook crosses the hole short of the green. Stay below the hole to increase your chances of two-putting this sloped green.

Hole #8

This is the hardest handicap hole on the golf course. Being straight off the tee is a must if you want to reach the green in two. With fairway bunkers and O.B. on the right and left, this hole has a demanding second shot which requires at least one extra club to hit to a right-sloping green. A perfect putt is essential to make par.

Hole #9

Closing out the front nine is this short par 4 with a drivable green for the longer hitters. O.B. and bunkers surround a generous landing area in front of the green. A kidney bean-shaped bunker to the front and left of this small, undulating green makes for a tricky approach shot.

Hole #10

Hit to the right or left off the tee here and watch your ball come back to the fairway. Slopes on both sides make the tee shot easy, but the green will determine your final score. Being on the correct level is critical on this elevated and tiered green, so check the pin marker on the flagstick for placement.

Hole #11

Aim towards the large tree to the left of the fairway as the fairway slopes down and right once you reach the top of the hill. Clearing the bunker and hill in front of the green with your second shot is tough due to the overhanging trees on the right.

Hole #12

The shortest of the par 3’s plays slightly uphill to a sloped green. Trees and bunkers to the right and left of the tee protect this undulating green.

Hole #13

Put the driver back in the bag on this dogleg-right hole. Go for a middle iron shot to the 150-yard pole. Your second shot over the hazard is to an uphill green with a bunker on the front left. Be wary of your putting on this sloped and tricky green. Par is a good score here.

Hole #14

This simple par 3 has a mound surrounding the green that makes it look like a bowl. Overhanging trees on the left test your ability to take aim at the flagstick on this large green with the prevailing breeze at your back.

Hole #15

One of the premier par 4’s in the state, our signature hole begins with an elevated tee shot to a generous landing area. A lateral hazard protects the left, leaving a long iron or fairway wood to a green protected by a large bunker and pond to the right. Par is a great score here.

Hole #16

Carrying the tee shot over the crest of the hill in the fairway will reduce the second shot by several clubs. The green offers a narrow approach with mounding on three sides.

Hole #17

The longest par 5 on the course plays into the prevailing breeze. An elevated tee box gives you a view of the rolling fairway and green out in the distance. A difficult blind second shot at a sloped green with a bunkers right and front left will test your skill. Mid-to-long hitters can decide whether to go for it.

Hole #18

Reachable for mid-to-long hitters, the eighteenth hole plays with the prevailing breeze, giving golfers a good chance for birdie or eagle before retiring for the day. The green is protected by a large bunker to the left and features some severe undulations that require an excellent putting touch.
